MACLAY, Dr. David, a Representative from Franklin County; born in Greenvillage, Franklin County, Pa., January 18, 1852; attended, Tuscarora Academy; attended, Chambersburg Academy; graduated, University of Pennsylvania, 1875; physician; elected, treasurer, Franklin County (1896-1899); chair, Franklin County Republican Committee (1899-1902); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1902; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1904); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Chambersburg (1905-1908); died, March 3, 1908 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Falling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
