KUNKEL, George, a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pa., March 11, 1855; attended, Harrisburg Academy; graduated, Franklin and Marshall College, 1876; lawyer; elected, District Attorney, Dauphin County (1886-1892); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1893, 1895, 1897, and 1903 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1898); resigned from the House, April 16, 1903; elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Dauphin County (1903-1920; president judge, 1905-1920); died, June 8, 1920 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
