KINSMAN, Edward Elmer, a Representative from Wayne County; born in Cherry Ridge Township, Wayne County, Pa., October 13, 1877; graduated, Honesdale High School; graduated, Bloomsburg Literary Institute and Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania), 1899; teacher; principal, Seelyville Independent schools; dairy farmer; town clerk, Cherry Ridge; school director, Cherry Ridge; elected, judge of elections, Wayne County; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1919 and 1921 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1922); member, Republican State Committee; director, Honesdale Union school board; officer and director, Farmers and Merchants Bank; died, March 19, 1966 in Honesdale, Wayne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Glen Dyberry Cemetery, Honesdale, Wayne County, Pennsylvania.
