JAMES, Edmund, a Representative from Cambria County; born in Cambria Township, Cambria County, Pa., June 10, 1847; private, United States Army (Civil War); printer; founder and publisher, the Herald; elected, burgess, Cambria Township; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Cambria Township; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1905, 1907, and 1927 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1909 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1929 term; died, August 6, 1930 in Johnstown, Cabria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
