HIBSHMAN, George, a Representative from Lancaster County; born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pa., August 29, 1852; machinist; tobacco farmer; director, Ephrata National Bank; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1907 term; reelected to serve 5 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1918 General election; died while in office, March 16, 1918 in Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hibshman Cemetery, Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
