HARTER, Dr. Martin L., a Representative from Northumberland County; born in Nescopeck, Luzerne County, Pa., August 19, 1872; graduated, Wyoming Seminary; D.D.S., Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery, 1902; dentist (24 years); elected, council, Mount Carmel; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1927 and 1929 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1931 term; died, June 28, 1963 in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
