HARER, Warren Clyde, a Representative from Lycoming County; born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pa., January 17, 1886; graduated, Williamsport High School, 1905; operator, Harer-Wurster Company, automobile business; elected, school director, Williamsport; elected, council, Williamsport; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1916); elected as a Republican candidate to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1918; reelected to serve 4 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1928); elected, treasurer, Lycoming County (1940-1944); elected, Register and Recorder and Clerk of the Orphans’ Court (1944-1948); died in November of 1984; interred, Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
