FORSTER, Isaac Grantham Gordon, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, November 5, 1880 in Brookville, Jefferson County, Pa.; attended, Bucknell Academy; graduated, Latin, The Pennsylvania State College (now The Pennsylvania State University), 1901; graduated, University of Pennsylvania, Law School, 1904; major, 46th Infantry, 9th Division, United States Army (World War I); served, Pennsylvania National Guard; lawyer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1913 and 1915 terms; resigned from the House, February 5, 1916; assistant city solicitor, Philadelphia; died, February 11, 1953 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.
