FEENEY, William Patrick, a Representative from Washington County; born, December 1, 1876 in Bedlington, Northumberland County, England; educated in public schools of England; mine worker; checkweighman (6 years); elected, teller, Pittsburgh District, United Mine Workers of America (3 years); elected, international teller, United Mine Workers of America (1909); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1910; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1912); officer and international representative, United Mine Workers of America; died, March 9, 1939 in Charleroi, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
