EVANS, John Franklin, a Representative from York County, born in Franklin Township, York County, Pa., August 15, 1878; farmer; school teacher, Franklin Township; road supervisor, Franklin Township; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1905 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906); employed, Pennsylvania Auditor General’s Office; employed, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue; died, February 16, 1934, in Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Dillsburg Cemetery, Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania.
