S., a Representative from Northampton County; born in Pen Argyl, Northampton County, Pa., November 5, 1894; graduated, Penn Argyl High School; graduated, Perkiomen Prep School, 1913; graduated, Dickinson College, 1917; LL.B., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1920; corporal, United States Army (1918, World War I); attorney; elected, solicitor, Pen Argyl (18 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1925, 1927, and 1929 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House to the 1931 term; legal advisor, draft boards (World War II); unsuccessful campaign, District Attorney, Northampton County (1950); died, November 25, 1972 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
