DUNN, Matthew Anthony, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Braddock, Allegheny County, Pa., August 15, 1886; attended, Pittsburgh School for the Blind; graduated, Overbrook School for the Blind, Philadelphia, 1909; news dealer (1907-1908); fire insurance broker (1920-1924); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1927 term and served 2 more consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1932); elected, United States Congress (1933-1941); died, February 13, 1942 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
