DAVIS, Richard, a Representative from Fayette County; born, June 27, 1852 in Blossburg, Tioga County, Pa.; attended, Woodhull Academy, NY; elected, school board secretary and president, Everson; mining engineer, H.C. Frick Coke Company; president and secretary, Amalgamated Association of  Labor of Pennsylvania; editor, Coke Country Chronicles; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1900 and 1902; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1904); elected, clerk of courts, Fayette County (1912-1920); died, June 6, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
