CLAYCOMB, David Lloyd, a Representative from Blair County; born in Alum Bank, Bedford County, Pa., June 19, 1878; attended, Franklin and Marshall Academy; LL.B., Dickinson College School of Law, (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1903; teacher (4 years); attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a member of the Washington Party to serve the 1913 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1915 term; Assistant United States Attorney, United States Department of Justice; unsuccessful campaign, District Attorney, Blair County (1931); unsuccessful campaign, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Blair County (1941); died, July 21, 1948 in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
