CLARK, Martin S., a Representative from Pike County; born, July 22, 1886 in Layton, Sussex County, NJ; machinist and conductor, Erie Railroad (1905-1950); mercantile appraiser, Pike County (1920); elected member, council, Matamoras (4 years); elected, school board, Matamoras; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1929 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1931 term; school director, Matamoras; died, April 14, 1951 in Port Jervis, Orange County, New York; interred, Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, Pike County, Pennsylvania.
