BUSH, Joseph K., a Representative from Fayette County; born, July 27, 1874 in West Finley, Washington County, Pa.; attended, Ohio Northern University; attended, Waynesburg College; private, Company K, 10th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1898-1899, Spanish American War); teacher (9 years); elected, school board, South Brownsville; notary public; engaged in real estate and insurance business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1922, 1924, and 1926; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1928 General election; postmaster, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1929-1932); died, December 1, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Finley Cemetery, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
