BOWEN, Charles C., a Representative from Northumberland County; born in Georgetown, Northumberland County, Pa., December 3, 1850; wheelwright; engineer, Pennsylvania Railroad Company; elected, board of education, Sunbury; member, State Legislative Board of Railroad Employees; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1905 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906); died, March 17, 1916 in Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
