WILLIAMS, Constance Hess, a Representative from Montgomery County; born, June 27, 1944 in Long Branch, Monmouth County, NJ; graduated, Rutgers Preparatory School, 1962; A.A., English, Pine Manor College, 1964; B.A., English, Barnard College, Columbia University, 1966; M.B.A., Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, 1980; fellow, Philadelphia Academy of Physicians; program officer, Einsenhower Fellowships; special project coordinator, Congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, 1993-1994; chair, Lower Merion and Narberth Township Democratic Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1997, 1999, and 2001 terms; resigned from the House, December 3, 2001; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (December 3, 2001-2008); elected, Minority Caucus Administrator (2003-2008); appointed, Pennsylvania Public Television Network Commission (2003-2006); member, Democratic State Committee; vice president and director, Hess Foundation
