BOLARD, John Albert, a Representative from Crawford County; born, October 4, 1867 in Woodcock Township, Crawford County, Pa.; attended, Waterford State Academy; LL.B., Michigan University, 1892; attorney; associated with banking, manufacturing, and mercantile enterprises; unsuccessful campaign to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1914); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1918 and 1920; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1922); died, October 23, 1960 in Meadville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Waterford Cemetery, Waterford, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
