BLAIR, Frederick Wells, a Representative from Erie County; born in Girard Township, Erie County, Pa., December 21, 1869; graduated, Erie Academy; graduated, Grove City College, 1896; farmer and cattle rancher (1896-1919); organizer and president; Erie County Farm Bureau; president, Erie County Farm Loan Association; school director; elected as a Prohibitionist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1921 term; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1923 and 1925 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House as a Prohibitionist (1926); died, November 7, 1952, in Fairview Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, Girard Cemetery, Girard Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
