BLACK, William C., a Representative from Fayette County; born, April 1, 1875 in Hopwood, Fayette County, Pa.; attended, Redstone Academy of Uniontown; clerk, freight and ticket office, Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, Uniontown (5 years); assistant cashier, Armour and Company, Uniontown; cashier, Armour and Company, Grafton, WV; treasurer, Citizens Title and Trust Company; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1928 and 1930; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1932); died, December 30, 1947 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
