BIGGER, William S., a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Robinson Township, Allegheny County, Pa., February 13, 1872; graduated, Ingleside Academy; LL.B., University of Michigan, 1896; lawyer; general office official, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1912; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1914); unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (1918); building contractor; died, April 8, 1921 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
