BAUMGARDNER, Harry Lee, a Representative from Fulton County; born in Wells Tannery, Fulton County, Pa., October 31, 1887; attended, Wells Township High School; graduated, Bliss Electrical School, 1906; employed, electrical supervisor, terminal repair shop of New York, Philadelphia, and Norfolk Railroad, Pennsylvania Railroad Company, Cape Charles, Va. (1906-1920); engaged in mercantile and lumber manufacturing (1920-1969); farmer (1938-1969); elected, school board, Wells Township; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1927 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House in the 1928 General election; superintendent, highway department, Fulton County; died, March 19, 1969 in McConnellsburg, Fulton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Wells Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Wells Tannery, Fulton County, Pennsylvania.
