CAPPABIANCA, Italo S., a Representative of Erie County; born in the City of Erie, Erie County, Pa., December 19, 1936; graduated, Strong Vincent High School, 1955; B.A., political science, Gannon College, 1968; served, United States Army (1956-1958); travel agent and president, Cappabianca Travel and Earth Tours, Inc.; commissioner, City of Erie Housing Authority (1975-1978); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1978; elected to serve 11 consecutive terms thereafter; died while in office, May 28, 2001; interred at Calvary Cemetery, the City of Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
