ADAMS, Ella Louella Collier, a Representative from Fayette County; born, August 7, 1865 in Georges Township, Fayette County, Pa.; attended, Beaver College (now Arcadia University); registry and money order clerk, United States Postal Service, Uniontown; first assistant post-mistress, United States Post Office, Uniontown (1907); elected, alternative delegate, Republican National Convention (1924); charter member, Republican Women of Pennsylvania; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1926 and 1928; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1930); vice-chair, Fayette County Republican Committee; died, September 14, 1944 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Grove Cemetery, Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
