WATSON, Katharine M., a Representative from Bucks County; born in Danville, Montour County, Pa., 1945; graduated, Springfield High School, 1963; B.A., English, University of Pennsylvania, 1967; graduate work, secondary guidance and counseling, Villanova University (1973-1976); English teacher, Springfield High School; owner, Coleraine Consultants, P.R.; elected, board member, Central Bucks School (1985-1989); founder and executive director, Bucks County Highway Safety Program (1990-1996); supervisor, Warrington Township (1995-2000; vice chair, 1999-2000); director of public information, Bucks County; deputy administrator, Bucks County (1996-2000); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2000 and is currently serving her 9th consecutive term; appointed, Deputy Whip (2007-2008).
