The son of David Walker and Margareta Jane (Milliken) Woods; Joseph Milliken Woods was born on January 5, 1854, New Berlin, Pa. He married Sarah Elizabeth Johnson of Hacettstown, New Jersey in 1881. Senator Woods died in Lewistown, Mifflin County, January 12, 1923. He was President Judge, Mifflin County.
