TRONZO, Al, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, June 28, 1908 in New Bethlehem, Clarion County, Pa.; B.A., University of Pittsburgh, 1931; attended, Duquesne Law School; served, United States Army (World War II); editor, Unione, Italian-American weekly; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1935 term and served 2 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1941 term; chief clerk, City Treasurer’s Office, Pittsburgh; executive director, Pittsburgh Housing Authority (1954-1970); appointed, executive director, Pennsylvania Association of Housing and Renewal Agencies (1973); died, February 11, 1998 in Wexford, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
