STACKPOLE, James Hall, a Representative from Elk County; born in Ridgway, Elk County, Pa., February 17, 1902; attended, St. Mary’s High School; attended, Hotchkiss Preparatory School; B.A., Yale University; M.B.A., Harvard Graduate School of Business; engaged in manufacturing business; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1939 term; elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (1956); died, August 21, 1964 in Houston, Harris County, Texas; interred at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, St. Mary’s, Elk County, Pennsylvania.
