SNYDER, Frank E., a Representative from Tioga County; born in Liberty, McKean County, Pa., March 10, 1886; graduated, Central State Normal School (now Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania), 1906; schoolteacher; hardware merchant; lumberman; farmer; elected, council, Liberty Borough; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1919, 1935, 1937, 1939, 1941, and 1945 terms; appointed, Committee to Study Regulations of Milk Control (1939-1940); appointed, Joint State Government Commission Sub-Committee on Unemployment Compensation (1945-1946); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1920, 1942, 1946); died in March of 1974 in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
