SEIF, Charles Lysle, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Canonsburg, Washington County, Pa. on September 22, 1903; graduated, Girard College; A.B., University of Pittsburgh, 1926; LL.B., University of Pittsburgh, 1929; attorney; first lieutenant, 503rd Anti-Air-Craft, United States Army; compiled “Pennsylvania Tort Digest”; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1938; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1940); died, January 9, 1964 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
