MENTZER, Charles Frederick, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, August 23, 1888 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; graduated, Connellsville High School; second lieutenant, United States Army (2 years, World War I); engaged in the real estate and insurance business; member, City Planning Commission, Monessen; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1934 and 1936; died while in office, January 4, 1937 in Monessen, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
