MADIGAN, Albert E., a Representative from Bradford County; born in Burlington Township, Bradford County, Pa., August 8, 1899; dairy farmer; elected, Burlington Township School Board (1932-1952); elected, Bradford County School Board (1938-1952); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1943 term and served 5 consecutive terms; appointed, Flood Control Commission (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1952); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1953-1966); not a candidate for reelection, State Senate (1967); elected, Chief Clerk, Pennsylvania State Senate (1967-1971); died, August 22, 1984 in Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bradford County Memorial Park, Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
