LYONS, Thomas, a Representative from Mercer County; born in Sharon, Mercer County, Pa., March 13, 1892; attended, Sacred Heart Parochial School; attended, College of Commerce, Sharon; served, United States Army (1918-1919, World War I); florist; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); reelected to the House for 4 more terms; appointed, Joint State Government Commission (1939-1940, 1943-1946; Sub-Committee on Cooperatives, 1945-1946); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1947 term; died in April of 1983 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
