HUTTON, Andrew Jackson White, a Representative from Franklin County; born, Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pa., on March 20, 1877; attended, Chambersburg Academy; graduated, Gettysburg College, 1897; graduated, Harvard Law School, 1902; attorney; professor of law, Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1930 and 1932; elected, Majority Leader (1933-1934); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1934); professor emeritus of wills, Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law) (1951-1961); died, September 27, 1961 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Grove Cemetery, Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
