GUTENDORF, Vincent Frederick, a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pa., October 29, 1914; graduated, Coughlin High School; graduated, Wyoming Seminary, 1936; B.A., Columbia University, 1940; second lieutenant, 8th Air Force Unit, United States Army (1942-1945, World War II); owner, Gutendorf Advertising Agency, Wilkes-Barre; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1951 and 1953 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1955 term; chief public information officer, Wilkes-Barre (1972-1975); employed, Office for Community Development, Wilkes-Barre; died, August 22, 1979 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Marys Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
