EVANS, Lewis E., a Representative from Cambria County; born on May 18, 1906 in Pennsylvania; served, 560th Signal Aircraft Warning Battalion, United States Army (1943-1945, World War II); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1946 and 1948; appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Labor Laws (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1950); died in March of 1980 in Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
