EDERER, Clarence Louis, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Chicago, Cook County, Il., July 15, 1895; graduated, Northwestern Academy; graduated, Philadelphia Textile School, 1917; served, building program of the Emergency Fleet Corporation (World War I); employed, linen mill (1 year); secretary and treasurer, R.J. Ederer Thread Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1927 term and reelected to serve 4 consecutive terms thereafter; resigned from the House, March 20, 1935; unsuccessful campaign for Special Election, Pennsylvania State Senate (April, 1935); United States Patent holder, twine (1955); died, January 23, 1969 in Blue Bell, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
