BEECH, Albert E., a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, Pa., circa 1904; graduated, accounting, Duquesne University; merchant; Ward chair (10 years); chair, Republican Committee, Wilkinsburg; elected, alternate delegate, Republican National Convention (1940); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1946 and 1950; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1948, 1952); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1954); investigator, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry; real estate broker; died, April 14, 1973 in Port Charlotte, Charlotte County, Florida; interred, Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
