Curtis, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., April 11, 1948; graduated, Edison High School, 1966; B.S., education, Temple University, 1976; attended, graduate classes, Temple University, 1977; J.D., Antioch School of Law, 1980; lead teacher, Get Set Program; law clerk, United States Department of Health, Education and Welfare, Office of General Counsel, Civil Rights Division; instructor, Constitutional and property law (1978-1979); clerk, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; member, 20th Ward Democratic Committee, 11th Division (1982); instructor, property law and civil practice, Antioch School of Law (1998); leaderm 14th Ward Democratic Executive Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1989 term; reelected to the House to serve 14 more consecutive terms; appointed, Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (1991-1992); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2018).
