BAKER, Francis Thompson, a Representative from Union County; born in Buffalo Township, Union County, Pa., August 12, 1878; traveling salesman, harvesting machine company (1899-1908); elected, register and recorder, Union County (1908-1915); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1927 term and served 5 consecutive terms thereafter; died while in office, August 8, 1938 in Danville, Montour County, Pennsylvania; interred, Dreisbach United Church of Christ Cemetery, Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania.
