ALEXANDER, Lowell Henry, a Representative from Mifflin County; born, April 14, 1893 in Potters Mills, Centre County, Pa.; educated, Belleville public schools; engaged in the automobile business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1934 and 1936; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1938); auditor, Bureau of Audits, Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General; unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (Special Election, May 11, 1937, 1946); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1952); died in January 15, 1964 in Derry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Machpelah Presbyterian Cemetery, Belleville, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
