POLASKI, Julian, a Representative from Erie County; born in the city of Erie, Erie County, Pa., March 22, 1907; graduated, Central High School; attended, Edinboro State Teachers College (now Edinboro University of Pennsylvania); B.S., Allegheny College, 1931; attended, Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration; senior liquid fuels tax examiner, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (1935-1938); accountant, Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission (1938-1939); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1940, 1942, 1944 and 1946; appointed, Joint State Government Commission Sub-Committee on Cooperatives (1945-1946); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Industrial Development and Expansion (1947-1948); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Retirement System and Laws (1947-1948); resigned from the House on April 30, 1948; appointed, finance director, the city of Erie (1948-1949); reelected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1950, 1952, 1954, 1956, 1958, 1960, 1962; appointed, Local Government Commission (1959-1964); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1964); died on October 9, 1994; interred at Trinity Cemetery, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
