Dallas for council; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1950, 1952, 1954, 1956, 1958); leader, 59th Ward Democratic Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1960; reelected to serve 2 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1966); died, April 17, 1982 in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
