(1945); second lieutenant, JAG Corps, United States Ary (1944-1946); assistant district attorney, York County (1946-1950); elected, District Attorney, York County (1950-1954); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1955 term; died while in office, May 17, 1956 in the city of York, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Gettysburg National Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
