FLINT, Robert Jerome, a Representative from Potter County; born in Bismarck, Burleigh County, ND, November 18, 1912; graduated, Grove City High School; A.B., Notre Dame University, 1933; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania, 1937; lieutenant commander, "U.S.S. Charles F. Hughes" (1942), United States Navy (1942-1946, World War II); served, United States Naval Reserves; lawyer; elected, District Attorney, Potter County (1952-1954); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1955 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1957 term; elected, alternate delegate, Democratic National Convention (1960); elected, secretary-solicitor, Coudersport; hearing examiner, Federal Department of Health, Education and Welfare; died, January 17, 1970 in Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania; interred, Calvary Cemetery, Saint Cloud, Stearns County, Minnesota.
