Night School; studied abroad (2 years); coach, Filo Athletic Club, West Mifflin; owner, bowling alley (5 years); fitter, stockman, and expediter, Westinghouse Electric Corporation (7 years); employee, treasurer’s office, Allegheny County; deputy coroner, Allegheny County Morgue (9 years); vice president, Young Democratic Clubs of Pennsylvania and Allegheny County; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1948; reelected to serve 9 more consecutive terms; elected, Majority Caucus Secretary (1959-1962); appointed, Pennsylvania Commission on Interstate Cooperation (1967-1968); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1968); died, September 23, 1991 in Jefferson Hills, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
