DONAHUE, Ruth Stover, a Representative from Clinton County; born, November 19, 1891 in Porter Township, Clinton County, Pa.; attended, State Teachers College in Lock Haven (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania); teacher (3 years); vice-chair, Clinton County Republican Organization (6 years); vice-chair, Clinton County Council of Republican Women; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1955, 1957 and 1959 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1961 term; appointed, Pennsylvania Air Pollution Commission (1962-1969); died, November 23, 1987 in Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
