Lebanon Republican Committee (1932); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1939 term and served 10 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Decedents’ Estates Laws (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1960); unsuccessful campaign, prothonotary, Allegheny County (1947); unsuccessful campaign, register of wills, Allegheny County (1951); died, May 18, 1961 in Mt. Lebanon Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
