B., Georgetown University Law School; attorney; attorney, Home Owners’ Loan Corporation; gubernatorial appointee, Workman’s Compensation referee, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry (1935-1945); Asistant District Attorney, Washington County; secretary to Congressman Grant R. Furlong (1944); solicitor, sheriff’s office, Washington County (1945-1946); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1946; reelected to the House in in 1952, 1954, 1956, 1958, 1960 and 1962; appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Labor Laws (1947-1948); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Unemployment Compensation (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1948, 1964); elected, solicitor, Washington County (1964-1972); elected, commissioner, Washington County (1971); died, July 1, 1974 in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
